Known Issue: HC240w 4K USB Charger Camera and LookCamPro App

Our engineers are aware of an issue regarding the latest update of the LookCamPro app.

During the latest app update, on the live view screen where you can adjust the streaming resolution, the labels showing which resolution the user can click on were accidentally reverted to a previous versions labels, and showing the incorrect resolution.

IE –

There are 4 resolutions that you can choose from for the HC240w WiFi Charger Camera, as shown in the user manual, and below:

4K, 2K, 1080P, and 720P.

However, in the latest LookCamPro app update, those resolution labels were inadvertently changed to the ones currently shown:

1080P, 720P, 640P, and 480P

Please note, that while the labels are incorrect, the actual streaming resolution is as shown in the manual.

So for example –

Clicking on the “1080P” labeled resolution in the app actually selects the 4K resolution.

Clicking on the “720P” labeled resolution in the app actually selects the 2K resolution.

Clicking on the “640P” labeled resolution in the app actually selects the 1080P resolution.

And clicking on the “480P” labeled resolution it the app actually selects the 720P resolution.

We apolgoize for the confusion with the displayed streaming resolution, and are working with the app developer to get this mixup switched back to show the correct streaming labels as soon as possible.
